Description

The Vorfluter Project Space in Berlin-Neukölln was initiated by studio kaefi as its first project, combining architectural practice with curatorial work. The project space serves as an experimental platform for exploring the relationship between art and space.

Vorfluter aims to make art tangible as a spatial synthesis, bringing together artistic practice and architectural context. Central to the project is close collaboration with invited artists within an in-situ framework, allowing works to be developed, adapted, and presented in direct response to the space.

The program focuses on installation-based and multidimensional practices that extend beyond two-dimensional formats and unfold through their interaction with the architectural environment. Exhibitions are conceived as spatial constellations in which artworks, space, and materiality enter into dialogue.

Located in Berlin-Neukölln, Vorfluter attracts a diverse audience and fosters cultural exchange through exhibitions and events. The project follows a process-oriented approach that emphasizes ongoing dialogue between artists and curators while supporting a dynamic and evolving presentation of art.
